I came specifically onto UK and Ireland to look for guy fawkes night questions and noticed that only American national holidays are listed as a catagories in “Holidays” (arguably apart from St Patricks day which is celebrated seemingly eveywhere).

It might have something to do with Yahoo being an American affair.
The whole site is skewed towards the septics They answer all the english questions with their parochial veiws and small minded opinions
suggest it to them, being an American organisation they may simply not know
It’s not really UK Yahoo. You may click on something that says it is, but when you get here, you’ll always find an American answering a UK related question with “This is US Yahoo, why are you asking that here?”
And to be honest, I don’t think Guy Fawkes night is really a holiday.
It is quite simply because Guy Fawkes night isn’t a national holiday.
