Top Holiday Destinations For 2011

If you are a sun seeker then there are some particular regions that you should be pencilling in for 2011. What better way to put the cold and misery of the UK winter behind you than a warm, relaxed and enjoyable holiday next summer. Even at this stage there are plenty of special deals on offer, so you can be surprised at the bargains it is possible to pick up.

Orlando holidays have never stopped being a popular choice. The huge and world-famous theme parks in Florida remain its top attractions, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to combine a week or two’s wonderful weather on the Gulf Coast with an action-packed exploration of the park’s rides. It can be exhausting trying to see everything that the theme parks have on offer, so if you need to rest and recharge your batteries, you have the perfect excuse to try out some of the excellent sports, leisure and spa facilities offered at the resort location hotels and villas.

If you are in the Gulf Coast area, you are also ideally placed to take a tour of the Caribbean. Only a short cruise or flight from Florida or Miami, you can arrange you extra holiday details well in advance and have something else to look forward to you for your summer extravaganza. Although Caribbean holidays are primarily for sun worshippers, the white sandy beaches, blue sky and clear water will give you an awesome setting for a romantic holiday, such as a wedding or anniversary, and there is plenty for the action enthusiast to do on the islands themselves. Activities such as watersports, diving and trail hikes around the island’s tropical interior are popular options.

Perhaps you prefer to spend more time exploring the sunny USA? In that case, Las Vegas holidays can make a spectacular and fitting end to a US holiday. An ideal option if you have a fly drive holiday and the flexibility of a car, your tour operator can give you a suggested route to follow, or you can plan your own through Nevada, choosing your places to stay, until you arrive at Vegas. Once in Vegas, see the famous hotels, the famous “strip” on which so many casinos are located, and even have a quick flutter on one of the games. But remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
