What percenatge is spent on alcohol when on holidays abroad?
Question by shazyboy: What percenatge is spent on alcohol when on holidays abroad?
I see a lot of men and women especially the british who go out on holidays under the sun and spend most of there money on beer and other beverages such as wine, spirits, and cocktails What percentage do you think a person spends on alcohol from the spending money which they take with them? I mean people are now even looking for “cheap drinking holidays” and are not considering anything else to make there holiday more enjoyable other than just that, because they know that most of the money will be going towards there drinks. I just don’t see why alcohol plays such a major role when there are many other ways to enjoy a holiday without having to spend so much money drinking down the booze

British people all have pasty skin and enlarged livers, therefore they spend 31.7% of their holiday budgets on alcohol.

Have to say that I am quite insulted by both your question and the first answer.
I am British and yes there are a select number of people from Britain go on ‘drinking’ holidays but the vast majority of us don’t. In fact in my family when we go abroad we actually drink less alcohol than we would at home.
Also are you telling me that when people from other countries go abroad they don’t drink a bit more than they usually would at home?
