Cycling Loire A Velo is a great way to experience the Loire Valley. The Loire a Velo is a bike riding wonder, more than 800km of cycling trails. The tracks include more than 800 km of cycling paths through the Loire Valley, calm roads with less than 500 cars a day passing. Cycle on this trail as it ventures to varied destinations. Cycle the paths from town to town and go to all the main attractions.
There are a lot of places to start from and to end up. You can start and end wherever you like along the route. You could go for a weekend trip, and choose your favorite places. Or you can go for a longer trip and follow the route the whole way from Cuffy in east to Saint Brevin at the Atlantic coast in west.
You will find a quiet, lovely scenery along the river Loire. Sit for a bite to eat or investigate something of interest. A cycling holiday in Loire will open a historic world of old castles, mansions and gardens built in the 15th and 16th century. The route going around Anger is about 50km long, this is all cycling path no worry about traffic. There are so much to discover and explore in this region, you will be surprised by the landscape and all the grand castles.
Traveling by bicycle, instead of a car, will make you able to see so much more along the way. You can hire a bike for a day or a week, or you can buy a package trip from one of the many companies that offers guided or selfguided trips.
