Question by It’s Me: Does anyone remember these two TV Commercials?
The two Smirnoff Black Ice Commercials:

First one:
Guy is taking his gf on holiday, she kisses her mum and hugs her dad, then dad puts his arm round her, looks her bf straight in the eye and says “Think you can return this young lady in the exact condition you found her?” Bf smiles innocently and says “Mr Johnston, my intentions are as innocent as yours were the first time you took your good lady wife on holiday”. Gf and her mum are like “Oh isn’t that sweet!” but her dad’s giving him a dirty look!

Second one:
Guy arrives at a bar where this very nervous looking girl is sitting. As he walks in she looks hopefully at him and asks “Scuse me, are you Brad?” He says “No I’m not” and she says “Oh. I’m Alex. Blind Date!” Guy says “Sorry Alex!” Then Brad turns up and you can just tell he loves himself. Girl looks really worried, so guy gets up and says “Hi, you must be Brad, I’m Alex!” and smiles!!

I loved those two ads – shame they don’t show ‘em anymore!
They were on TV about 5 or 6 years ago….
